Declaration That Land is a Reserve

PURSUANT to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Commissioner of Crown Lands hereby notifies that the following resolution was passed by the Nelson City Council on the 26th day of August 1980: “That in exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 14 of the Reserves Act 1977, the Nelson City Council hereby resolves that the piece of land held by the said city in fee simple and described in the Schedule hereto, shall be, and the same is hereby declared to be, a recreation reserve within the meaning of the said Act.”

Classification of Parts of a Reserve

PURSUANT to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Assistant Commissioner of Crown Lands hereby declares that part of the reserve, described in the First Schedule hereto, to be classified as a reserve for scenic purposes, subject to the provisions of Section 19 (1) (b) of the said Act, and further, declares that part of the reserve, described in the Second Schedule hereto, to be classified as a reserve for recreation purposes, subject to the provisions of the said Act.

Reservation of Land and Vesting in the Manukau City Council

PURSUANT to the Land Act 1948, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Assistant Director-General of Lands hereby sets apart the land, described in the Schedule hereto, as a reserve for local purpose (esplanade) and further, pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, vests the said reserve in the Manukau City Council in trust for that purpose.
