Import Control Exemption Notice (No. 27) 1981

PURSUANT to regulation 17 of the Import Control Regulations 1973*, the Minister of Trade and Industry hereby gives notice as follows:

1. (a) This notice may be cited as the Import Control Exemption Notice (No. 27) 1981.
   (b) This notice shall come into force on the 1st day of January 1982.
2. Goods of the classes specified in the First Schedule hereto, imported from and being the produce or manufacture of any country, are hereby exempted from the requirement of a licence under the said regulations.
3. The exemption from the requirement of a licence under the said regulations in respect of the goods of the classes set forth in the Second Schedule hereto, included in the exempting notice shown in the Second Schedule is hereby withdrawn.

Classes of Goods

Goods (other than motor vehicles and goods already exempt import licensing control) imported as part of his baggage by a passenger arriving in New Zealand, for the personal use of the importer and not for purposes of sale, business, or for use in the trade, calling or profession of the importer, or on behalf of any other person or persons.

SECOND SCHEDULE
EXEMPTION WITHDRAWN

Classes of Goods

Goods (other than motor vehicles and other than goods already exempt import licensing control) imported under Tariff Ref. 81 of Part II of the Customs Tariff whether dutiable or not, which do not qualify for admission under Tariff Ref. 80 of Part II of the Customs Tariff, imported as part of his baggage by a passenger arriving in New Zealand, the total assessed c.d.v. of which—
(a) Does not exceed $200 for radio products and sound image equipment, and
(b) Does not exceed $200 for all other goods; and which are imported for the personal use of the importer and not for purposes of sale, business, or for use in the trade, calling or profession of the importer, or on behalf of any other person or persons.

Declaration That the Reserve be Part of the Waimarama Domain Recreation Reserve

PURSUANT to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Assistant Commissioner of Crown Lands hereby declares the reserve, described in the Schedule hereto, to form part of the Waimarama Domain Recreation Reserve to be administered as a reserve for recreation purposes by the Hawke’s Bay County Council.

Classification of Reserve

PURSUANT to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Assistant Commissioner of Crown Lands hereby declares the reserve, described in the Schedule hereto, to be classified as a reserve for recreation purposes, subject to the provisions of the said Act.

Change of Classification of a Reserve

PURSUANT to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Assistant Commissioner of Crown Lands hereby changes the classification of the reserve, described in the Schedule hereto, from a reserve for local purpose (esplanade) to a reserve for recreation purposes, subject to the provisions of the said Act.

This notice is issued in substitution for the notice, dated 27 October 1981; and published in New Zealand Gazette, No. 134, 12 November 1981, page 3127, and that notice is hereby cancelled.
