Appointment of Member and Chairman of Waikato No. 2 Land Valuation Tribunal
PURSUANT to section 19 of the Land Valuation Proceedings Act 1948, as substituted by section 2 of the Land Valuation Proceedings Amendment Act 1977, His Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to appoint:

District Court Judge of Rotorua, to be a member and Chairman of the Waikato No. 2 Land Valuation Tribunal, and vice Peter John Trapski, Principal Family Court Judge, on and from 19 November 1981.

PURSUANT to section 47 of the Judicature Act 1908, the Right Honourable Sir Ronald Keith Davison, g.b.e., c.m.g., Chief Justice of New Zealand has this day appointed
John Harry Loughnan of 25 Bolton Street, Newcastle, New South Wales, Australia
a solicitor for the Supreme Court of New South Wales to be a Commissioner of the High Court of New Zealand in New South Wales for the purpose of administering and taking oaths, affidavits and affirmations as in the said section mentioned.

Declaring Land Taken for Electric Works (Transformer Site) Situated in Block I, Otahoua Survey District, Borough of Masterton
PURSUANT to section 32 of the Public Works Act 1928, and section 35 of the Finance Act (No. 2) 1945, the Minister of Works and Development hereby declares that, a sufficient agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for electric works (transformer site) and shall vest in the Wairarapa Electric Power Board, from and after the 3rd day of December 1981.
