Authorising a Secondary Use of Land in Block II, Port Nicholson Survey District, City of Wellington, and Vesting the Control and Management thereof in the Commissioner of Crown Lands for the Wellington Land District

PURSUANT to section 37 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, the Minister of Works and Development hereby—

(a) Authorises the application of the land described in the Schedule hereto being land held primarily for post and telegraph purposes to recreational purposes, which shall be a secondary use of the said land;

(b) Specifies that section 17 of the Reserves Act 1977 shall apply to the said land; and

(c) Vests the control and management of the said land in the Commissioner of Crown Lands for the Wellington Land District.
