Road Closed and Road Closed and Vested in Block VIII, Matakaoa Survey District, Waiapu County

PURSUANT to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, the Minister of Works and Development hereby proclaims as closed the road described in the Schedule hereto, and also declares that the road first and secondly described in the said Schedule shall when so closed, vest in Anthony James Maxwell, forestry worker, and John Charles Kinder, solicitor, both of Gisborne, as executors.

PURSUANT to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, and section 25 (i) of the Acts Interpretation Act 1924, the Minister of Works and Development hereby proclaims as closed the road described in the Schedule hereto, and declares that the said road shall, when so closed, vest in Arthur John Cawood of Umutoi, farmer, subject to memoranda of mortgage Nos. 402150.4 and 402150.6.

PURSUANT to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, the Minister of Works and Development hereby proclaims as closed the road described in the First Schedule hereto, and declares that the closed road shall be dealt with as Crown land, under the Land Act 1948, and also hereby resumes the land described in the Second Schedule hereto for the purposes of subsection (6) of the said section 29.
