Notifying Issue of Writs, Date of Polling, etc.
PURSUANT to a Warrant under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, dated the 29th day of October 1981 directed to the Clerk of the Writs, I have this day issued writs to all Returning Officers authorising them to proceed to the election of members of Parliament for all electoral districts within New Zealand and have fixed Thursday, the 5th day of November 1981, as the last day for the nomination of candidates, Saturday the 28th day of November 1981, as the day upon which the poll for such elections shall (if necessary) be taken, and Friday the 18th day of December 1981 as the day on or before which the said writs shall be returnable to me.
Dated at Wellington this 29th day of October 1981.
