WAIPA COUNTY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
PUBLIC notice is hereby given that the Waipa County Council proposes to execute a certain public work, to wit, the construction of a public road for which purpose the land described in the Schedule hereto requires to be taken by the Council under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928.
A plan of the land required to be taken as aforesaid lies open to public inspection at the office of the Council in Bank Street, Te Awamutu.
Every person directly affected is hereby called upon to set forth in writing any objection he may wish to make to the execution of such work or to the taking of such land not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation and to send such written objection to the Planning Tribunal, Wellington, within 40 days from the first publication of this notice.
A public hearing of the objection will be held unless the objector otherwise requires and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.

NOTICE OF APPLICATION TO VARY TRUST
NOTICE is hereby given that the South British Guardian Trust Co. Limited, as the trustee of the estate of Harold George Keeley, late of Matamata, company director, now deceased, has applied to the High Court at Hamilton to vary the terms of a charitable trust created by the will of the deceased.
The scheme proposes that the terms of the trust be varied to enable scholarships to be awarded to ex-scholars of Matamata College attending any other place of learning or centre of tertiary education in New Zealand or overseas in addition to the existing terms of the trust that empower the trustees to award scholarships towards the whole or any part of the cost and expenses of the education either at Matamata College or at any other secondary school, college, teachers training college or university of any scholar or ex-scholar of Matamata College.
The date and place for the hearing of the application by the High Court is the 7th day of December 1981, at Hamilton.
Any person desiring to oppose the scheme is required to give written notice of his intention to do so to the Registrar of the High Court at Hamilton and to the trustee and the Attorney-General, not less than 7 clear days before that date.
The Trustee’s address for service is care of the offices of Messrs Bell and Graham, Barristers and Solicitors, Arawa Street, Matamata.

PUBLIC NOTICE—ROTORUA DISTRICT COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
In the matter of the Counties Act 1956 and the Public Works Act 1928 and their several amendments, notice is hereby given that the Rotorua District Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, to execute a certain public work: namely the construction of a sewage pump station; (known as No. 1) and a sewage pipe line and for the purpose of such public work the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken and notice is hereby further given that a plan of the lands so required to be taken is deposited in the offices of the Rotorua District Council situated in Arawa Street, Rotorua, and is open for inspection without fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours, 8.30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of such lands who have any objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said lands not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation, must state their objections in writing, and send same within 40 days from the first publication of this notice to the Town and Country Planning Tribunal, Tribunals Division, Private Bag, Postal Centre, Wellington. A public hearing of the objection will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and that each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.
