Notice is hereby given that applications have been made for variation of current determinations of the Minister of Customs as follows:

90.28.001 (Deter'n) REQUESTED DETERMINATION: Moving iron ammeters and voltmeters, flush mounting, quadrant scale, to accuracy class 1.5 and having face sizes from 72 millimetres to 144 millimetres square Moving coil and moving coil/rectifier ammeters and voltmeters, flush mounting, having face areas of between 5184 square millimetres and 9216 square millimetres and having sector, quadrant or circular scales NOTE: Circular, sector and quadrant type scales are illustrated in Fig. 2 on pages 11 and 12 of B.S. 3693: Part I: 1964, “The Design of Scales and Indexes.”

The identification reference to the application number indicates the office to which any objection should be made.

Any person wishing to lodge an objection to the granting of these applications should do so in writing to the appropriate office as indicated by the identification reference on or before 12 November 1981. Submissions should include a reference to the identification reference, application number, Tariff item and description of goods concerned and be supported by information as to:

(a) The range of equivalent goods manufactured locally;
(b) The proportion of New Zealand and imported material used in manufacture;
(c) Present and potential output; and
(d) Details of factory cost in terms of materials, labour, overhead, etc.
