Land Held for the Generation of Electricity, Set Apart for State Housing Purposes in Block IV, Belmont Survey District, City of Lower Hutt
Pursuant to section 25 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works and Development declares the land described in the Schedule hereto to be set apart, together with the sewer drainage rights over the part Lot 8, Plan 15797 (certificate of title No. 3/331), shown coloured yellow on D.P. Plan 28496, granted by Transfer 717539, and subject to the fencing covenant contained in Transfer 732466, and subject to Proclamation No. 3923, defining the middle line of a further portion of the Wellington-Napier Railway (Lower Hutt Valley Duplication), for State housing purposes, from and after the 22nd day of October 1981.

All that piece of land containing 658 square metres, situated in Block IV, Belmont Survey District, being part Sections 178 and 197, Hutt District, and being also Lot 1, D.P. 28496. All Declaration No. 872292, Wellington Land Registry.

Declaring Land Taken for Better Utilisation in the City of Waitematฤ
Pursuant to section 32 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works and Development hereby declares that, a sufficient agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for better utilisation from and after the 22nd day of October 1981.

Declaring Land and Easements over Land Taken for Electricity Works in Block V, Otaneawainuku Survey District, Tauranga County
Pursuant to section 32 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works and Development hereby declares that, sufficient agreements to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby taken for electricity works and the right of way easement firstly described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby taken for electricity works over the land described in the Third Schedule hereto and the right of way easement secondly described in the said Second Schedule is hereby taken for electricity works over the land described in the Fourth Schedule hereto and that both the land and easements shall vest in the Tauranga City Council from and after the 22nd day of October 1981.

Description of Easements

The full and free right for the Tauranga City Council and its agents, employees, engineers and contractors in common with Arthur Ballantyne Scott and his successors in title from time to time and at all times by day and by night forever hereafter to pass and re-pass with or without such vehicles, implements or machinery as may be required by the Tauranga City Council to maintain its works and protect the shoreline of Lake McLaren and/or for the purposes of installing and maintaining along and beside the shoreline of Lake McLaren any measuring or other devices or to use and adapt parts of the said land for the purpose of executing necessary works for the maintenance of Lake McLaren and the clearance or removal of any growths and foreign matters or deposits whatsoever in Lake McLaren and generally for all purposes connected with and enabling the Tauranga City Council to police and carry into effect its policy from time to time for the management and control of Lake McLaren.
