The Standards Act 1965βDraft New Zealand Amendment Available for Comment
PURSUANT to subsection (3) of section 23 of the Standards Act 1965, notice is hereby given that the following draft amendment is being circulated.
Number and Title of Specification
DZ 1823/A Draft amendment to BS 65:1981 Vitrified clay pipes, fittings, and joints. $5.
This draft amendment proposes declaration of BS 65:1981 as a New Zealand Standard, to supersede NZS 1823:1967 and NZS 365:1965.
It will add New Zealand amendments to include the non-flexible joint requirements at present specified in NZS 365, and other changes to bring the standard into line with current New Zealand practice.
All persons who may be affected by this publication and who desire to comment thereon may obtain copies at the price shown from the Standards Association of New Zealand, Wellington Trade Centre, 15-23 Sturdee Street, Wellington 1.
The closing date for receipt of comment is 15 December 1981.

Import Control Exemption Notice (No. 15) 1981
PURSUANT to regulation 17 of the Import Control Regulations 1973*, the Minister of Trade and Industry hereby gives notice as follows:
- (a) This notice may be cited as the Import Control Exemption Notice (No. 15) 1981.
(b) This notice shall come into force on the 1st day of November 1981.

Goods of the classes specified and for the purposes of the Customs Tariff falling within the tariff items in the First Schedule hereto, imported from and being the produce or manufacture of any country, are hereby exempted from the requirement of a licence under the said regulations.

The exemption from the requirement of a licence under the said regulations in respect of the goods of the classes set forth in the Second Schedule hereto, included in the exemption notice shown in the Second Schedule is hereby withdrawn.
