Maori Land Development Notice

PURSUANT to section 332 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Maori Land Board hereby gives notice as follows:

NOTICE

1. This notice may be cited as Maori Land Development Notice Whangarei, 1981, No. 27.

2. The notice referred to in the First Schedule hereto is hereby amended by omitting all reference to the land described in the Second Schedule hereto.

3. The land described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby released from Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953.

PURSUANT to section 439 (5) (b) of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the reservation of Maori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto is set apart as a Maori reservation for the purpose of a marae and meeting place for the common use and benefit of the Maori owner and the Maori people generally, constituted by a notice dated 19 July 1974, and published in New Zealand Gazette of 25 July 1974, No. 72, p. 1539, is hereby cancelled.
