IN THE MATTER OF the Companies Act 1955, and IN THE MATTER OF KING FURNITURE (S.C.) LIMITED, a duly incorporated company having its registered office at Timaru:
NOTICE is hereby given that a petition for the winding up of the above-named company by the High Court was on the 2nd day of September 1981, presented to the said Court by STONEYHURST TIMBERS LIMITED, a duly incorporated company having its registered office at 176 Hereford Street, Christchurch, and carrying on business as a furniture manufacturer, and that the said petition is directed to be heard before the Court sitting at Timaru on the 30th day of November 1981, at 10 o’clock in the forenoon; and any creditor or contributory of the said company desirous to support or oppose the making of an order on the said petition may appear at the time of hearing in person or by his counsel for that purpose; and a copy of the petition will be furnished by the undersigned to any creditor or contributory of the said company requiring a copy on payment of the regulated charge for the same.

NOTE—Any person who intends to appear on the hearing of the said petition must serve on, or send by post, to the abovenamed, notice in writing of his intention so to do. The notice must state the name, address and description of the person or, if a firm, the name, address and description of the firm, and an address for service within 3 miles of the office of the High Court at Timaru, and must be signed by the person or firm, or his or their solicitor (if any), and must be served, or, if posted, must be sent by post in sufficient time to reach the above-named petitioner’s address for service not later than 4 o’clock in the afternoon of the 27th day of November 1981.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND IN HOUGHTON BAY ROAD
THE Wellington City Council proposes under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928 to take land described in the Schedule below for road in the City of Wellington.
A plan of the land which the Council proposes to take is available for public inspection during normal office hours free of charge in the office of the City Solicitor, Municipal Offices Building, Mercer Street, Wellington.
If any person is directly affected by the proposal and has an objection which is not related to the amount or payment of compensation he should put his objection in writing and send it to the Registrar, Planning Tribunal, Private Bag, Postal Centre, Wellington, within 40 days of the first publication of this notice. If any objection is made, a public hearing of the objection will be held unless the objector does not require this and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.
SCHEDULE:
FIRST, all that parcel of land containing 76 square metres, more or less, situate in the City of Wellington, being part Section 1, Town District, and being part Lot 17 on Deposited Plan 8089, and being also part of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 877, folio 53 (Wellington Land Registry) more particularly delineated on S.O. Plan 30212 and thereon marked “A”.
Second, all that parcel of land containing 80 square metres, more or less, situate in the City of Wellington, being part Section 1, Town District, and being part Lot 17 on Deposited Plan 8089 and being also part of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 877, folio 53 (Wellington Land Registry) more particularly delineated on S.O. Plan 30212 and thereon marked “B”.
Third, all that parcel of land containing 85 square metres, more or less, situate in the City of Wellington, being part Lot 18 on Deposited Plan 8089 and being part of the land comprised and described in certificate of title No. 138/632 (Wellington Land Registry) more particularly delineated on S.O. Plan 30212 and thereon marked “C”.
NOTE—The above areas of land are situate in Houghton Bay Road and adjoin 59–63 Houghton Bay Road, Wellington.

LANDS TO BE TAKEN FOR ROAD IN THE WAIKARETU VALLEY ROAD AREA
IN THE MATTER OF the Public Works Act 1928
PUBLIC notice is hereby given that the Raglan County Council proposes under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to execute a certain public work namely the taking of the lands described in the Schedule hereto for road and notice is hereby further given that the plans of the lands so required to be taken are deposited at the offices of the Raglan County Council at Great South Road, Ngaruawahia, and are there open for inspection. All persons affected by the execution of the said public works or by the taking of the said lands for road, should, if they have any objection to the execution of the public works or to the taking of the lands for road not being objections to the amount or payment of compensation set forth in writing, and send the written objection to the Secretary of the Planning Tribunal Division, Department of Justice, Postal Centre, Private Bag, Wellington, before the 10th day of November 1981, and if any objection is made in accordance with this notice a public hearing of the objection will be held unless the objector otherwise requires and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.

DECLARATION BY THE ASSISTANT REGISTRAR DISSOLVING TRUSTS
I, Kenneth John William Derby, Assistant Registrar of Incorporated Societies, hereby declare that as it has been made to appear to me that The Combined Workshop Trust is no longer carrying on its operations, it is hereby dissolved in pursuance of section 26 of the Charitable Trusts Act 1957.
