Notice of Intention to Vary Hours of Sale of Liquor at Licensed Premises—Canterbury Licensing Committee

PURSUANT to section 221A of the Sale of Liquor Act 1962 as amended by section 22 (14) of the Sale of Liquor Amendment Act 1976, I, John Fraser Robertson, Secretary for Justice, hereby give notice that the Canterbury Licensing Committee on 10 September 1981, made an order authorising variations of the usual hours of trading for the licensed premises known as the Shades Tavern, Christchurch.

To the intent that on days other than those on which licensed premises are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to the general public the hours for the opening and closing of the said premises shall be as follows:

(a) On any Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday—Opening at 9 o’clock in the morning and closing at 8 o’clock in the evening.

(b) On any Friday and Saturday—Opening at 10 o’clock in the morning and closing at 10 o’clock in the evening.

(c) On any Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve—Opening at 10 o’clock in the morning and closing at 10 o’clock in the evening.

Setting Apart Maori Freehold Land as a Maori Reservation

PURSUANT to section 439 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Maori freehold land, described in the Schedule hereto, is hereby set apart as a Maori reservation for the purpose of a marae site for the common use and benefit of the Ngati Paeahi tribe.

National Roads Board: Notice Partially Revoking Declaration of State Highway to be a Limited Access Road

REFERRING to State Highway No. 1, Okaihau to Ohaeawai, as more particularly shown on sheets 1 to 5 of plan L.A. 11/6/1 and accompanying Schedule held in the office of the Resident Engineer, Ministry of Works and Development, Whangarei, and there available for public inspection, it is notified that the National Roads Board by resolution dated 23 September 1981 and pursuant to subsection 5 of section 4 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1963, hereby revokes its resolution dated 21 December 1979*, made pursuant to the said section 4 insofar as it affects that part of the limited access road declaration for half its width on the southern side across the frontages of part Lot 2F, D.P. 4439 (C.T. 169/180), part Lot 3, D.P. 11298 (C.T. 275/10) and Section 14, Block XII, Omapere S.D. (C.T. 10D/602).

National Roads Board: Notice Partially Revoking Declaration of State Highway to be a Limited Access Road

REFERRING to State Highway No. 1, Snake Hill to Whangarei, as more particularly shown on sheets 1 to 3 of plan L.A. 11/12/2 and accompanying Schedule held in the office of the Resident Engineer, Ministry of Works and Development, Whangarei, and there available for public inspection, it is notified that the National Roads Board by resolution dated 23 September 1981 and pursuant to subsection 5 of section 4 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1963, hereby revokes its resolution dated 13 December 1978*, made pursuant to the said section 4 insofar as it affects that part of the limited access road declaration for half its width across the three portions of frontage to part Lot 1, D.P. 75736 (C.T. 32B/374).

National Roads Board: Notice Partially Revoking Declaration of State Highway to be a Limited Access Road

REFERRING to State Highway No. 2, Te Maunga to Te Puke, as more particularly shown on sheets 1 to 12 of plan M.O.W. 15701 and accompanying Schedule held in the office of the Resident Engineer, Ministry of Works and Development, Tauranga, and there available for public inspection, it is notified that the National Roads Board by resolution dated 23 September 1981 and pursuant to subsection 5 of section 4 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1963, hereby revokes its resolution dated 31 October 1979*, made pursuant to the said section 4 insofar as it affects that part of the limited access road declaration for a width of 13 metres on its northern side commencing at the point of junction of the western boundary of Lot 2, D.P. S. 94 (C.T. 1092/275) with the highway and extending eastward for 50 metres along the frontage of the said Lot 2.
