CARTERTON BOROUGH COUNCIL

IN the matter of the Public Works Act 1928, and in the matter of the Local Government 1974:

NOTICE is hereby given that the Carterton Borough Council proposes under the provisions of the above Acts and their respective amendments, to take land for a certain public work, namely, Wyndham Street; and notice is hereby given that a plan of the land so required to be taken (as described in the Schedule hereto) is deposited in the public office of the Carterton Borough Council, Holloway Street, Carterton, and may be inspected (without fee) at the said place by all persons during ordinary office hours.

All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said land who have any well-grounded objection to the taking of the said land (not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation) must state their objection in writing and send the same, within forty days of the first publication of this notice, to the Secretary, Town and Country Planning Tribunal, Justice Department, Private Bag, Wellington. A public hearing of any such objection will be held (unless the objector otherwise requires) and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.

SCHEDULE

ALL that piece of land situate in the Borough of Carterton containing 204 square metres, more or less, being part Section 206 of the Taratahi District, as the same appears marked “A” on Survey Office Plan 32750.

IN THE MATTER OF THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT ACT 1974

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that The Raglan County Council proposes under the provisions of the Local Government Act 1974, to execute a certain public work namely the stopping of certain public roads as described in the Schedule hereto; and notice is hereby further given that the plan of the road so required to be stopped is deposited at the offices of The Raglan County Council, at Ngaruawahia and is there open for inspection. All persons affected by the execution of the said public works or to the stopping of the said road set forth in writing and send the written objection to the office of the council before the 28th day of October 1981 and if any objection is made in accordance with this notice a public hearing of the objection will be held unless the objector otherwise requires and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.
