Confiscation of Motor Vehicle

PURSUANT to the Criminal Justice Act 1954, section 440, motor vehicle registration No. GK6888, Ford Falcon motor car, engine and chassis No. ML23NJ15668, owned by Mr Victor John Harris, Wardville Road, R.D. 1, Waharoa was confiscated by Judge F. F. Latham in the District Court at Hamilton on the 10th day of July 1981, in accordance with the above Act.

Notice of Intention to Vary Hours of Sale of Liquor at Chartered Club—Southland Licensing Committee

PURSUANT to section 221A of the Sale of Liquor Act 1962 as amended by section 22 (14) of the Sale of Liquor Amendment Act 1976, I, John Fraser Robertson, Secretary for Justice, hereby give notice that the Southland Licensing Committee on 31 July 1981 made an order authorising variations of the usual hours of trading for the Chartered Club known as the Wyndham Town and Country Club, Wyndham.

To the intent that on days other than those on which chartered clubs are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to its members the hours for the opening and closing of the said premises shall be as follows:

(a) On any Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday (not being Christmas Eve or New Year’s Eve)—Opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 10 o’clock in the evening.

(b) On any Friday and Saturday (not being Christmas Eve or New Year’s Eve)—Opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 11 o’clock in the evening.

(c) On any Christmas Eve—Opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 11 o’clock in the evening.

(d) On any New Year’s Eve—Opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 00.30 o’clock on the morning of New Year’s Day.

Notifying the Exchange of State Forest Land for Other Land—Wellington Conservancy

PURSUANT to section 22 of the Forests Act 1949, as substituted by section 7 of the Forests Amendment Act 1976, the Minister of Forests has exchanged the State forest land described in the First Schedule hereto for other land described in the Second Schedule hereto.
