THE RIGHT HON. D. MACINTYRE PRESIDING IN COUNCIL

WHEREAS the land located at No. 9 Wharf, Mount Maunganui, Tauranga Harbour, being the land described in the Schedule hereto, has been reclaimed by the Bay of Plenty Harbour Board without the necessary approvals in terms of sections 175 to 178 of the Harbours Act 1950.

Now acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council His Excellency the Governor-General acting pursuant to sections 175 to 178 and 265 of the Harbours Act 1950, hereby validates and approves the reclamation of the said land.

SCHEDULE

ALL that parcel of land in the South Auckland Land District containing 8766 square metres, more or less, being part of Survey Block VII, Tauranga, as more particularly shown on plan MD 16064, and deposited in the office of the Ministry of Transport at Wellington.

Lieutenant (temp. Captain) W. I. Whiting relinquishes the temporary rank of Captain with effect from 1 March 1981.

Major (temp. Lieutenant Colonel) D. J. Grant to be Lieutenant Colonel, with seniority from 22 December 1980 and effect from 11 May 1981.

ROYAL N.Z. INFANTRY REGIMENT

Major (temp. Lieutenant Colonel) S. J. M. Winton to be Lieutenant Colonel, with seniority from 23 December 1980 and effect from 11 May 1981.
