TAURANGA CITY COUNCIL

THE Tauranga City Council proposes under the provisions of the Local Government Act 1974 and the Public Works Act 1928, to take the land described in the Schedule below for the laying out and construction of a service lane between 9th and 10th Avenues on the eastern side of Cameron Road in the City of Tauranga.

A plan of the land which the council proposes to take is available for public inspection during normal office hours, free of charge in the Office of the City Secretary, Civic Administration Building, Willow Street, Tauranga.

If any person is directly affected by the proposal and has an objection which is not related to the amount or payment of compensation, he should put his objection in writing and send it to the Registrar, Planning Tribunal, Private Bag, Postal Centre, Wellington within 40 days of the first publication of this notice. If any objection is made in accordance with this notice a public hearing of the objection will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires. Each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.

ANGELICAN CHURCH TRUSTS BILL 1981

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO APPLY FOR LEAVE TO BRING IN A BILL

TAKE notice that the general synod of the Anglican Church is the promoter of the Anglican Church Trusts Bill 1981, a private Bill which it intends to apply for leave to introduce into the House of Representatives during the 1981 session.

The objects of the Bill are to widen the powers of trustees under trusts in connection with the Church of the Province of New Zealand and the Church of the Province of Melanesia and to provide for the administration of such trusts; to repeal the Church of England Trusts Act 1913 and its amendments; and provide a means for varying trusts held for religious or charitable purposes in connection with the Anglican Church, in addition to the means provided by the Charitable Trusts Act 1957, where it has become impossible or impracticable or inexpedient to carry out the trust objects or purposes.

Copies of the Bill may be inspected at the offices of:
