National Roads Board: Notice Partially Revoking Declaration of State Highway to be a Limited Access Road

REFERRING to State Highway No. 2, Tc Maunga to Tc Puke section as more particularly shown on sheets 1 to 12 of plan M.O.W. 15701 and accompanying Schedule held in the office of the Resident Engineer, Ministry of Works and Development, Tauranga, and there available for public inspection, it is notified that the National Roads Board by resolution, dated 19th August 1981, and pursuant to subsection 5 of section 4 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1963, hereby revokes its resolution, dated 20 October 1969*, made pursuant to the said section 4 insofar as it affects that part of the limited access road declaration for a width of 13 metres on its northern side across the frontages of part Lot 2, D.P. 15699 (C.T. 12B/225) and Section 101 (C.T. 19C/214).

REFERRING to State Highway No. 3, Hamilton to Ohaupo section, as more particularly shown on sheets 1 to 11 of plan M.O.W. 35749 and accompanying Schedule held in the office of the Resident Engineer, Ministry of Works and Development, Hamilton, and there available for public inspection, it is notified that the National Roads Board by resolution, dated 19 August 1981, and pursuant to subsection 5 of section 4 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1963, hereby revokes its resolution dated 12 December 1973*, made pursuant to the said section 4 insofar as it affects that part of the limited access road declaration for a width of 13 metres on its eastern side across the frontage of part Allotment 166, Parish of Te Rapa (C.T. 553/114).

REFERRING to State Highway No. 22, Pukekohe to Tuakau section, as more particularly shown on sheets 1 to 3 of plan L.A. 10/70/2 and accompanying Schedule held in the office of the Resident Engineer, Minister of Works and Development, Auckland (south) and there available for public inspection, it is notified that the National Roads Board by resolution dated 19 August 1981 and pursuant to subsection 5 of section 4 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1963, hereby revokes its resolution dated 16 February 1977* made pursuant to the said section 4 insofar as it affects that part of the limited access road declaration for half its width on the eastern side across the frontage of part Allotment 10, Parish of Tuakau (C.T. 974/175).

It is notified that the National Roads Board, by resolution dated 19 August 1981 and pursuant to section 4 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1963, hereby declares that part of State Highway No. 6 (Blenheim to Invercargill via Greymouth) from its junction with Kensington Road, Renwick as more particularly shown on sheets 1 to 3 of plan L.A. 54/39/1 and accompanying Schedule held in the office of the Resident Engineer, Ministry of Works and Development, Nelson, and there available for public inspection, to be a limited access road.

It is notified that the National Roads Board, by resolution dated 19 August 1981 and pursuant to section 4 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1963, hereby declares that part of State Highway No. 1, Whangarei to Oakleigh section, for a width of 13 metres on the eastern side across the frontages of Lots 1 and 2, D.P. 90922 (C.Ts 488/413 and 414), as more particularly shown on sheet 1 of plan L.A. 11/14/2 and accompanying Schedule held in the office of the Resident Engineer, Ministry of Works and Development, Whangarei and there available for public inspection, to be a limited access road.

National Roads Board: Declaring State Highway to be a Limited Access Road

It is notified that the National Roads Board, by resolution dated 19 August 1981 and pursuant to section 4 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1963, hereby declares that part of State Highway No. 1, Tc Hou Hou Road to Wheelers Pit section, for half its width on the southern side across the frontages of Lot 1, D.P. 31427 (C.T. 20c/422) and part Block XXXII, Rangitikei District (C.T. 20c/423) to the mid point of the N.W. corner, as more particularly shown on sheet 1 of plan L.A. 43/13/2 and accompanying Schedule held in the office of the Resident Engineer, Ministry of Works and Development, Wanganui and there available for public inspection, to be a limited access road.

Exchange Rates

IN terms of section 25 (2) of the Reserve Bank of New Zealand Act 1964, the Reserve Bank today released outer limits for rates of exchange to be used in transactions involving the conversion of New Zealand currency into foreign currencies and foreign currencies into New Zealand currency when delivery of the foreign currency dealt in will be effected by telegraphic transfer. The following range of rates, for the main currencies used by New Zealand traders in settling foreign exchange transactions, will remain in force until replaced by a new Schedule issued by the Reserve Bank. These rates do not apply to transactions for settlement after the expiration of 2 business days (forward transactions) or to transactions in which instruments are purchased which do not entitle the buyer to foreign currency balances in the foreign centre until the instruments have been delivered at the foreign centre. In the latter case interest at foreign centre rates may be deducted from the telegraphic transfer rate to compensate the purchaser for his loss during the transit period.
