The Standards Act 1965—Draft New Zealand Standard Specification for Comment
PURSUANT to subsection (3) of section 23 of the Standards Act 1965, notice is hereby given that the following draft New Zealand Standard specification is being circulated.
Number and Title of Specification
DZ 6701 Code of practice for street and road lighting.
This code of practice is a radical departure from New Zealand and British Standards currently in use in that it is based on lighting performance. Its aim is to make public thoroughfares, rural and urban, as safe as possible at night with maximum efficiency in terms of cost and energy use.
It is a revision of NZ CP 53 and NZ CP 54.
All persons who may be affected by this publication and who desire to comment thereon, may obtain copies at $3.50 each from the Standards Association of New Zealand, World Trade Center, 15-23 Sturdee Street (or Private Bag), Wellington.
The closing date for the receipt of comment is 17 October 1980.
