Land Proclaimed as Road, Road Closed and Land Taken in Hurunui County

PURSUANT to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, the Minister of Works and Development hereby proclaims as road the land described in the First Schedule hereto; also hereby proclaims as closed the road described in the Second Schedule hereto, and hereby takes the land described in the Third Schedule hereto for the purposes of subsection 6 of the said section 29; and also hereby declares that the road firstly and secondly described in the Second Schedule hereto and the land described in the Third Schedule hereto shall, when so closed and taken, vest in Lancevale Holdings Limited, a duly incorporated company having its registered office at Christchurch, subject to mortgage No. 658105, Canterbury Land Registry; and hereby further declares that the road thirdly described in the Second Schedule hereto shall, when so closed, vest in Roderick Dudley Gwynne Lawrence of Hawarden, farmer, subject to mortgage Nos. 252743/3 and 252743/4, Canterbury Land Registry.

Authorising a Secondary Use of Land in Block IV, Tatu Survey District, Rotorua District, and Vesting the Control and Management thereof in the Rotorua District Council

PURSUANT to section 37 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, the Minister of Works and Development hereby:

(a) Authorises the application of the land described in the Schedule hereto, being land held primarily for the generation of electricity to recreation purposes, which shall be a secondary use of the said land; and

(b) Specifies that Part III of the Reserves Act 1977 shall apply to the said land;

(c) Vests the control and management of the said land in the Rotorua District Council.
