Appointment of Honorary Community Officers Under the Maori Community Development Act 1962

PURSUANT to section 5 (1) of the Maori Community Development Act 1962, the Minister of Maori Affairs hereby appoints the persons named in the Schedule hereto, as honorary community officers for a term of 3 years.

Appointment of Maori Wardens Under the Maori Community Development Act 1962

PURSUANT to subsection (1) of section 7 of the Maori Community Development Act 1962, as substituted by section 14 of the Maori Purposes Act 1975, the Minister of Maori Affairs hereby appoints for a term of 3 years the persons named in the Schedule hereto, to be Maori Wardens for the areas of the Tai Tokerau District Maori Council and the Tairawhiti District Maori Council.

PURSUANT to section 32 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works and Development hereby declares that, a sufficient agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a pleasure ground, and shall vest in the Wellington City Council, from and after the 7th day of August 1980.

Amending a Declaration Taking Land for a Hospital in the City of Tauranga

PURSUANT to section 330A of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works and Development hereby amends the Declaration dated the 19th day of November 1979, published in Gazette, 29 November 1979, No. 112, at page 3705, taking land for a hospital, pursuant to section 32 of the Public Works Act 1928, by omitting the Schedule thereto, and substituting the following Schedule.

SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land containing 1.8784 hectares, situated in Block XIV, Tauranga Survey District, being part of the land on D.P. 15794, and being part Tutukeranga Block; as shown on plan S.O. 51032, lodged in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Hamilton, and thereon marked “A”.

PURSUANT to section 32 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works and Development hereby declares that, a sufficient agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of the Fire Service Act 1975, and shall vest in the New Zealand Fire Service Commission, from and after the 7th day of August 1980.
