NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND IN BLOCK X WAIPAKURA
SURVEY DISTRICT FOR ROAD

Notice is hereby given by the Waitotara County Council
that it is proposed under the provisions of the Public Works
Act 1928, to take for road the land described in the Schedule
hereto, such land to be used for widening an existing road
and to legalise part of an existing road; and notice is hereby
further given that a plan showing the said land is on view
and open for inspection at the office of the Council, Waitotara
County Council Chambers, Victoria Avenue, Wanganui, during
ordinary business hours; and that every person affected by
the taking of the said land should set forth in writing any
objection he may wish to make not being an objection to the
amount or payment of compensation and send the written
objection within 40 days from the first publication of this
notice, to the Town and Country Planning Appeal Board at
Wellington; and that if any objection is made in accordance
with this notice a public hearing of the objection will be held
unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will
be advised of the time and place of the hearing.

SCHEDULE

229 square metres and 259 square metres, both being part of
Raorikia B, situated in Block X, Waipakura Survey District,
and being part of certificate of title, Volume 267, folio 280,
Wellington Registry, and shown as letters “A” and “E”
respectively on S.O. Plan 32289.

The land is situated on Mangaiti Road.

GISBORNE CITY COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

IN the matter of the Public Works Act 1928, and the Town
and Country Planning Act 1977:

THE Gisborne City Council hereby gives notice of its intention
to take under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928
and the Town and Country Planning Act 1977, that land
situated at the address variously known as 12 Norman Street
or 12 Norman Road, Gisborne, and being the whole of the
land comprised and described in certificate of title Volume
2A, folio 278, Gisborne District Land Registry, which certifi-
cate of title is available for inspection at the Chief Post Office,
Grey Street, Gisborne.

The purposes for which the land is to be used are the
provision and preservation of the amenities of the neighbour-
hood in which the land is situated, and the termination of use
of the land which detracts from the amenities of the
neighbourhood and which does not conform to the operative
district scheme for the City of Gisborne.

Every person directly affected by the taking herein notified
and having objection thereto (other than objection to the
amount or payment of compensation), is called upon, within
40 days after first publication of this notice, to set forth
in writing and send to the Planning Tribunal at Wellington
such objection.

If any such objection is made, a public hearing of the
objection will be held unless the objector otherwise requires,
and each objector will be advised of the time and place of
such hearing.
