Declaring Land Taken for Buildings of the General Government in the Chatham Islands County

PURSUANT to section 32 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works and Development hereby declares that, a sufficient agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for buildings of the General Government, from and after the 17th day of July 1980.

Authorising Secondary Use of Land in Shepherds Bush Survey District

PURSUANT to section 37 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, the Minister of Works and Development, being of the opinion that it is practicable for the land described in the Schedule below, and which is held for irrigation purposes under the Public Works Act 1928, to be applied also to a secondary use without interfering with the public work for which the land is held, hereby authorises the application of the land to the purpose of electricity generation.

PART of Rural Section 30240, situated in Block VI, Shepherds Bush Survey District, Canterbury R.D. (S.O. 7314), as the same is more particularly delineated on plan P.W.D. 111308, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works and Development at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Amending a Notice Proclaiming Road Closed and Vested in Blocks II and VI, Waimumu Hundred, Southland County

PURSUANT to section 330A of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works and Development hereby amends the notice dated the 21st day of April 1980, published in New Zealand Gazette, 8 May 1980, No. 51, p. 1338, proclaiming road closed and vested in Blocks II and VI, Waimumu Hundred, Southland County, by omitting the road described thirdly in the Schedule and substituting the following:

“4608 Lot 5, D.P. 5208, and part Sections 9 and 16, marked ‘H’ on plan S.O. 8913.”
