(7) Sluice or wedge gate (or stop) valves of cast iron and alloyed iron for waterworks purposes and like application, in nominal sizes, 51 mm (2 in.), 76 mm (3 in.), 100 mm (4 in.), 150 mm (6 in.), 200 mm (8 in.), 254 mm (10 in.), 300 mm (12 in.), 380 mm (15 in.), 400 mm (16 in.), 450 mm (18 in.), 500 mm (20 in.) and 600 mm (24 in.), double flange and spigot or socket ends, hand operated, for test pressures not exceeding 244 metres (800 ft.) head of water with or without copper based trims. In accordance with BSS 1218, NZSS 784, BSS 5163, and same purpose valves for higher pressures above standards

(8) Check valves (reflux of iron and alloyed iron for general purposes, in nominal sizes 80 mm, 100 mm, 150 mm, 200 mm, 250 mm, 300 mm, double flanged, for test pressure 244 metres, head, free acting and external lever operated in accordance with BSS 4090, not including non-concussive types

(9) Plugcocks, bronze, screwed and flanged straight through or 3-way, sizes 12 mm to 102 mm (½ in. to 4 in.), (but not sleeve packed plugcocks)

(10) Valves, commonly used on bulk fuel tankers, viz:
(a) Pressure vacuum valves, aluminium, screwed, 76 mm (3 in.) and 102 mm (4 in.) flanged

(11) Check valves of any kind of bronze, commonly used with steam or water of following types and working pressures:
(a) flanged horizontal types 19 mm to 153 mm (¾ in. to 6 in.) with stainless steel or bronze seat and a working pressure of 344 kPa to 1725 kPa (50 p.s.i. to 250 p.s.i.)
(b) flanged and screwed swing type 63.5 mm to 102 mm (2½ in. to 4 in.) of 344 kPa to 690 kPa (50 p.s.i. to 100 p.s.i.)
(c) Screwed vertical type 63.5 mm to 76 mm (2½ in. to 3 in.) with bronze seat and a working pressure of 344 kPa to 690 kPa (50 p.s.i. to 100 p.s.i.)
(d) Horizontal check valves 12 mm to 51 mm (½ in. to 2 in.) fibre or teflon seats and a working pressure up to 1035 kPa (150 p.s.i.) | | | | | | |
