Revocation of Authority of Resellers to Provide Essential and Emergency Supplies of Motor Spirits

Pursuant to section 8 of the Economic Stabilisation (Conservation of Petroleum) Regulations (No. 3) 1979*, I, William Francis Birch, hereby revoke the authority of the retailers listed in the Schedule hereto to sell motor spirits during any restricted periods to any essential users or to any persons approved by the Police as needing to purchase motor spirits for emergency purposes.

Pursuant to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Christchurch City) Notice No. 1, 1980.

The road specified in the Schedule hereto is excluded from the limitation as to speed imposed by section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

Curletts Road: from a point 130 metres measured north-westerly, generally, along the said road from State Highway 75 (Christchurch-Akaroa) to the north-western boundary of Christchurch City.

International Driving Permits

Pursuant to subclause (2) of regulation 7 of the Transport (Convention on Road Traffic) Regulations 1958*, the Minister of Transport hereby specifies that the fee for the issue of an international driving permit pursuant to the said regulation 7 shall from the date hereof be $3.50.

The Traffic (Waimate County) Notice No. 1, 1980

Pursuant to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Waimate County) Notice No. 1, 1980.

The road specified in the First Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be closely populated localities for the purposes of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

The road specified in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be a 70 kilometres an hour speed limit area pursuant to regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976*.

The Traffic (Waimate County) Notice No. 1, 1973, dated the 23rd day of March 1973†, issued pursuant to section 52 of the Transport Act 1962, is hereby revoked.
