The powers, functions, duties and authorities conferred on the authority by this order may at any time be resumed by the Governor-General, without payment of any compensation whatever, on giving the authority at least 6 calendar months' notice in writing. Any such notice shall be sufficient if given by the Minister and delivered at or posted to each council at the last known address of the council in New Zealand.

PURSUANT to section 175 (4) of the Harbours Act 1950, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby revokes the Order in Council on 26 October 1971, which authorised the Rodney County Council to reclaim from the Te Hana Creek, Kaipara Harbour, an area of 2 roods, more or less; as shown on plan M.D. 14250, and deposited in the office of the Ministry of Transport at Wellington.
