Agreement for Grant of Easement in favour of the Waiuku Borough Council over land situated in the Borough of Waiuku, held for the purposes of the Fire Service Act 1975, Assented To

WHEREAS by a Declaration dated the 8th day of June 1979, published in New Zealand Gazette, 12 July 1979, No. 62, page 2090, land was acquired for the purposes of the Fire Service Act 1975, being parts Lot 1, D.P. 24653, Borough of Waiuku; and whereas the Waiuku Borough Council was entitled to compensation in respect of its interest in the said land; and whereas the New Zealand Fire Service Commission agreed to grant to the said Council a right of way over the above land held for the purposes of the Fire Service Act 1975, in part satisfaction of the compensation aforesaid; and whereas the said Council has agreed to accept such grant of right of way in part satisfaction of the said compensation; now, therefore, the Minister of Works and Development hereby gives notice, pursuant to section 97 of the Public Works Act 1928, that he assents to the agreement hereinbefore referred to.

PURSUANT to section 32 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works and Development hereby declares that, a sufficient agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a secondary school, from and after the 3rd day of July 1980.
