Board Appointed to Control and Manage a Reserve

PURSUANT to the Reserves Act 1977, the Minister of Lands hereby appoints: His Worship the Mayor of Winton, ex officio; One member of the Invercargill City Council, ex officio, to be appointed in that behalf by the City Council; The Director of Parks and Recreation, Invercargill City Council, ex officio, to be appointed in that behalf by the County Council; The Assistant Commissioner of Crown Lands for the Southland Land District, ex officio; Bryant Hamilton Frew, Gordon McFadzen, and Robert James Queale; to be the Forest Hill Scenic Reserve Board to control and manage the reserve, described in the Schedule hereto, subject to the provisions of the said Act, for a term expiring on 31 December 1980.

Appointment of Member of the Wellington Motor Vehicle Disputes Tribunal

PURSUANT to section 97 (3) (b) of the Motor Vehicle Dealers Act 1975, the Minister of Justice has been pleased to appoint George Maclea Pickering, general manager of Palmerston North,
to be a member of the Wellington Motor Vehicle Disputes Tribunal, vice Leonard Henry Ferris Brown, resigned on and from 1 January 1980.

Declaring Land Taken for Waterworks in Block IX, Akatarawa Survey District, City of Upper Hutt

PURSUANT to section 32 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works and Development hereby declares that, a sufficient agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken, subject to the covenant as to fencing contained in transfer No. 57544 and subject to the reservations as to coal, gold, and silver as shown on certificate of title, Volume 152, folio 162, for waterworks and shall vest in the Wellington Regional Water Board, from and after the 7th day of February 1980.
