Notice of Confiscation of Motor Vehicle

PURSUANT to section 44n (2) of the Criminal Justice Act 1954, notice is hereby given that in the Magistrate's Court at Wellington, on 19 December 1979, an order was made that the following motor vehicle be confiscated:

1956 Plymouth station wagon, registered No. AQ 8982, owner: James Albert Taylor.

Standard Grade for the Export of Kiwifruit Amendment Notice 1980 (No. 2301, Ag. 12/2/14)

PURSUANT to regulation 13 of the New Zealand Grown Fruit and Vegetables Regulations 1975*, the Standard Grade for the Export of Kiwifruit Notice 1977 (No. 1682, Ag. 12/2/14), published in the New Zealand Gazette of 21 April 1977, No. 43, p. 1108, is hereby amended by omitting from clause 6 (b) the words "before the first day of May", and substituting the words "until the fruit reaches a minimum of 6.2 percent soluble solids as determined by a Brix test".

Appointment of Wharves at Tauranga

PURSUANT to section 28 of the Customs Act 1966, I, Jack Alexander McLeod Kean, the Comptroller of Customs, hereby revoke the following existing appointment of wharves, appointed in the New Zealand Gazette, Thursday, 15 August 1968, No. 50, p. 1350:

All those structures, erections, and parcels of land situated at Mount Maunganui and Tauranga being those portions of the Tauranga Harbour Board's property shown coloured in green with limits delineated in red on the plan numbered C. 9210 deposited in the office of the Marine Department, Wellington,

and hereby appoint the following as wharves for the lading and unlading of goods:

All those structures, erections and parcels of land situated at Mount Maunganui and Tauranga being those portions of the Tauranga Harbour Board's property shown coloured green with limits delineated in red on the plan numbered M.D. 15959 deposited at the office of the Ministry of Transport, Tauranga.

The Standards Act 1965—Draft Amendment to New Zealand Standard Specification Available for Comment

PURSUANT to subsection (3) of section 23 of the Standards Act 1965, notice is hereby given that the following draft amendment is being circulated.

Number and Description of Draft

DZ 6742/A1 Draft amendment to NZS 6742:1971 Code of practice for emergency lighting in buildings.

This proposed amendment has been made necessary primarily by developments in the design of sealed battery power packs for emergency lighting luminaries.

All persons who may be affected by this amendment and who desire to comment thereon may obtain copies from the Standards Association of New Zealand, World Trade Center, 15–23 Sturdee Street (or Private Bag), Wellington.

The closing date for the receipt of comment is 18 April 1980.
