Adding Land to Mount Aspiring National Park

At the Government House at Wellington this 17th day of December 1979

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to section 10 of the National Parks Act 1952, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby declares that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall, as from the date thereof, be added to and form part of Mount Aspiring National Park and shall hereafter be managed, administered, and dealt with by the Mount Aspiring National Park Board in accordance with the provisions of the said Act.

OTAGO LAND DISTRICT—VINCENT COUNTY

156.850 hectares, more or less, being Sections 1, 2, 3, and 4, Block V; Sections 1, 2, 3, and 4, Block VIII; and Sections 2, 3, 4, and 5, Block XII, Haast Survey District. All G.N. 516227. S.O. Plans 19146, 19147, 19148, and 19154.

PURSUANT to section 175 (2) and subject to sections 176 to 182 of the Harbours Act 1950, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorise this the Christchurch City Council to reclaim from the bed of the Avon River at Pleasant Point an area of 2.3545 hectares of land, more or less, as shown on plan M.D. 15980 (S.O. 14971) and deposited in the office of the Ministry of Transport at Wellington.

Appointment of Transport Licensing Authority

PURSUANT to section 93 of the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby appoints

Garth Edward Button

of Paeroa, as Transport Licensing Authority for the No. 3, 4, and 5A Transport Districts for a term commencing on 1 February 1980 and ending on 29 February 1980.

Reappointment of Maori Wardens Under the Maori Welfare Act 1962

NOTICE is hereby given, pursuant to section 7 of the Maori Welfare Act 1962, as substituted by section 14 (3) of the Maori Purposes Act 1975, that the persons named in the Schedule hereto have been reappointed as Maori wardens for a term of 3 years, for the area of the Maori association shown opposite the name of each person in the second column of the Schedule hereto.
