Land Proclaimed as Road, Road Closed and Land Taken in Block XI, Toetoes Survey District and Blocks I and II, Otara Survey District, Southland County

PURSUANT to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, the Minister of Works and Development hereby proclaims as road the land described in the First Schedule hereto, which land shall vest in the Southland County Council, and hereby proclaims as closed the road described in the Second Schedule hereto, and also hereby takes the land described in the Third Schedule hereto for the purposes of subsection (6) of the said section 29; and declares that the land firstly described in the Third Schedule hereto, when so taken, shall vest in the Southland County Council, and that the land firstly described in the Second Schedule hereto, shall, when so closed, vest in John David Jennings of Otara, farmer, subject to mortgages No. 166130, 219236, 264274, and 004388.1; and that the road thirdly, sixthly, and eighthly described in the Second Schedule hereto, when so closed, and the land fourthly described in the Third Schedule hereto, when so taken, shall vest in Edward Robert Bacon, the younger, of Otara, farmer, subject to mortgages No. 85601, 216449, 152056, statutory land charge No. 020291.1, and mortgage No. 032740.1; and that the road fifthly described in the Second Schedule hereto, when so closed, and the land secondly described in the Third Schedule hereto, when so taken, shall vest in Colin William Jennings, subject to mortgages No. 029021.3, 036772.1; and 029926.1, and that the road seventhly described in the Second Schedule hereto, when so closed, and the land thirdly described in the Third Schedule hereto, when so taken, shall vest in Raymond Albert Blair, and Ashley Wayne Blair of Otara, farmers, subject to mortgages No. 190063 and 272950, and subject to mortgage No. 020570.2, affecting the half-share interest of Ashley Wayne Blair only.
