TIMARU CITY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
In the Matter of the Public Works Act 1928
Notice is hereby given that the Timaru City Council proposes,
under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to take for
a service lane the lands described in the Schedule hereto,
situated adjacent to St. Mary's Church, Church Street, Timaru,
such lands to be used as a service lane.

And notice is hereby further given that the plan of the
lands so required to be taken is deposited in the Public
Office of the Town Clerk to the Timaru City Council, situated
in King George's Place, Timaru, and is there open for
inspection without fee by all persons during ordinary office
hours; that all persons directly affected by the taking of the
said lands should, if they have any well grounded objection
to the taking of the said lands, not being an objection to
the amount or payment of compensation, make a written
objection and send it within 40 days after the first publication
of this notice, to the Planning Tribunal at Wellington; and
that if any objection is made in accordance with this notice,
a public hearing of the objection will be held unless the
objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised
of the time and place of the hearing.

NEW ZEALAND WOOL BOARD
PURSUANT to regulation 15 of the Wool Industry Regulations
1978, notice is hereby given that the Adjusted Weighted
Average Sale Price for the sale held on 15 January 1980, at
Wanganui, was 253.10 cents per kilogram (greasy basis).

As this price is above the Government Supplementary
Minimum Wool Price of 235 cents per kilogram (greasy
basis) no supplement is payable on wool until further notice.

There is likewise no grower retention levy payable in terms of
section 42 of the Wool Industry Act 1977, as the
A.W.A.S.P. is less than the ruling trigger price of 300 cents
per kilogram (greasy basis).

Christchurch was 259.26 cents per kilogram (greasy basis).

As this price is above the Government Supplementary
Minimum Wool Price of 235 cents per kilogram (greasy
basis) no supplement is payable on wool until further notice.

There is likewise no grower retention levy payable in terms of
section 42 of the Wool Industry Act 1977, as the
A.W.A.S.P. is less than the ruling Trigger Price of 300 cents
per kilogram (greasy basis).
