Transfer of Unformed Legal Road in Block VII, Okuru Survey District, Westland County.

PURSUANT to section 323, Local Government Act 1974, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Commissioner of Crown Lands hereby declares that the land, described in the Schedule hereto, has been transferred to the Crown by the Westland County Council, pursuant to the said section 323 and as from the date of this notice the land shall be deemed to be Crown land subject to the Land Act 1948.

Revocation of Appointment to Control and Manage a Reserve

Reservation of Land and Vesting in the Rotorua District Council

PURSUANT to section 48 of the Local Government Act 1974, the Secretary for Local Government hereby defines as set out in the Schedule hereto, the boundaries of Tauranga City, Tauranga County, and Mount Maunganui Borough, the boundaries of Tauranga City and Tauranga County having been altered by Order in Council on 21 June 1971 and published in the New Zealand Gazette, No. 74, 24 June 1971, p. 1183, and by notice signed by the Minister of Local Government on 14 August 1974 and published in the New Zealand Gazette, No. 80, 22 August 1974, p. 1768, and again by notice signed by the Minister of Local Government on 24 February 1976 and published in the New Zealand Gazette, No. 21, 26 February 1976, p. 424, and the boundaries of Tauranga County and Mount Maunganui Borough having been altered by Order in Council on 25 June 1979 and published in the New Zealand Gazette, No. 59, 28 June 1979, p. 1958.

BOUNDARIES OF TAURANGA CITY
ALL that area in the South Auckland Land District, containing 4020 hectares, more or less, bounded by a line commencing at the intersection of the eastern boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 25114, and the mean high-water mark on the shore of the Tauranga Harbour, in Block IX, Tauranga Survey District, and proceeding generally northerly and easterly along the shore of the said harbour, to the western boundary of Section 755, Block VI, Tauranga Survey District; thence generally northerly, easterly and southerly along the western, northern and eastern boundaries of that section, to and generally easterly along the shore of the Tauranga Harbour, and the shore of the Waikareao Estuary, to the north-eastern boundary of the East Coast Main Trunk Railway; thence south-easterly along that boundary, to the westernmost corner of Allotment 420, of Section 1, Town of Tauranga, Lot 1 D.P. S. 16654, Allotment 421 of Section 1, Town of Tauranga, and Lot 3 D.P. S. 12876, to the mean high-water mark of the shore of the Tauranga Harbour; thence southerly along that shore, to the southern-most corner of Allotment 887, Section 2, Town of Tauranga, situated in Block XIV, Tauranga Survey District; thence southerly along the eastern side of Turret Road crossing the Waimapu River Estuary, to the shore of the Tauranga Harbour; thence north-easterly and south-easterly along the shore of the said harbour to the easternmost corner of part Maungatapu B Block, situated in Block XV, Tauranga Survey District; thence easterly generally along a right line across Tauranga Harbour, to and along the northern boundaries of Lot 2 and Lot 1, D.P. S. 18945, and the last-mentioned boundary produced to a point 50.29 metres (2½ chains) from the generally eastern side of Ranginui Roadway; thence generally southerly, 50.29 metres (2½ chains) from and parallel to the said generally eastern side to the northern side of Welcome Bay Road; thence generally westerly along that roadside, to a point due north of the easternmost corner of part Lot 1, D.P. S. 8906, due south to that corner, and due west to the eastern side of Waitaha Road; thence southerly along that roadside, to a point in line with the
