Appointment to Air Services Licensing Authority

PURSUANT to section 4 (1) of the Air Services Licensing Act 1951, as amended by section 2 (1) of the Air Services Licensing Amendment Act 1967, His Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to appoint

Mr J. H. O. Tiller, as Chairman;
Mr G. K. Grocott,
Mr P. A. Hansen, and
Air Vice-Marshal C. L. Siegert, as members

of the Air Services Licensing Authority for a period of 1 year, from 1 January 1980 to 31 December 1980.

Appointment of Member to the Administrative Division of the Supreme Court (Land Valuation Work)

His Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to appoint, pursuant to section 3 of the Land Valuation Proceedings Act 1948 as amended by section 5 of the Land Valuation Proceedings Amendment Act 1968,

Ralph Frizzell, Esquire, reader in valuation, of Christchurch, to be a member of the Administrative Division of the Supreme Court of New Zealand for a period of 5 years, on and from the date hereof.

Appointment of Members to the Joint Council for Local Authorities Services

PURSUANT to sections 4 and 5 of the Joint Council for Local Authorities Services Act 1977, the Minister of Local Government hereby appoints the following persons to be members of the Joint Council for Local Authorities Services, with terms of office to expire on 30 September 1982.

Arthur Frederick Thomas, O.B.E., of Takapuna, and Gordon Charles Mason, of Warkworth

on the joint nomination of the Municipal Association of New Zealand Incorporated, the New Zealand Counties Association Incorporated and the Auckland Regional Authority;

Peter George Kovacevich, of Mount Albert, and William Jukes Anton, of Wellington

on the joint nomination of the industrial unions of workers specified in part I of the First Schedule to the Act; and

Murray Donald Macphee, of Palmerston North

on the joint nomination of the officer groups specified in part II of the First Schedule to the Act.

NOTICE is hereby given by direction of the Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries that, pursuant to section 3 of the Meat Export Prices Act 1976, His Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to reappoint

Charles Hilgendorf, farmer, Ashburton (as a representative of the N.Z. Meat Producers Board)

to be a member of the Meat Export Prices Committee for a term of 3 years commencing 17 October 1979.
