Notice of Intention to Take Land in Block XII, Nuhaka North Survey District, Cook County, for the Purposes of the Forests Act 1949

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to take for the purposes of the Forests Act 1949, the land described in the Schedule hereto, such land to be incorporated into the surrounding State forest; and notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken, is there deposited in the post offices at Morere and Nuhaka, and is there open for inspection; that all persons directly affected by the taking of the said land should, if they have any objection to the taking of the said land, not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation, make a written objection, and send it within 40 days after the first publication of this notice to the Planning Tribunal at Wellington; and that, if any objection is made in accordance with this notice, a public hearing of the objection will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.

PURSUANT to section 35 of the Finance Act (No. 2) 1945, and section 32 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works and Development hereby declares that, a sufficient agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for hospital purposes, and shall vest in the Palmerston North Hospital Board, from and after the 1st day of May 1980.
