Declaring Land Acquired for a Local Work and not Required
for that Purpose to be Crown Land in Waipawa District

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, The Right
Honourable Sir Keith Jacka Holyoake, the Governor-General
of New Zealand, hereby declare the land described in the
Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to the Land Act
1948.
SCHEDULE
HAWKE’S BAY LAND DISTRICT
ALL those pieces of land situated in Block IX, Maracakakaho
Survey District, described as follows:
A. R. P. Being
0 0 24 Part Lot 3, D.P. 6848. (607 m²)
0 0 3 Part Lot 1, D.P. 9399. (75 m²)
As shown on plan S.O. 5749, lodged in the office of the
Chief Surveyor at Napier, and thereon coloured blue, edged
blue.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand,
this 10th day of April 1980.

Wairoa County

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, The Right
Honourable Sir Keith Jacka Holyoake, the Governor-General
of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land
described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for road;
and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect,
from and after the 23rd day of April 1980.
SCHEDULE
GISBORNE LAND DISTRICT
ALL that piece of land containing 18.6 perches (470 square
metres), situated in Block XIII, Opoiti Survey District,
being part Lot 1, D.P. 1471. All certificate of title No.
3B/628, Gisborne Land Registry.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand,
this 10th day of April 1980.

tions and Retirements of Officers of the Royal New Zealand
Air Force
PURSUANT to section 35 of the Defence Act 1971, His Excel-
lency the Governor-General has approved the following
appointments, promotions, extensions, transfers, resignations,
and retirements of officers of the Royal New Zealand Air
Force.
REGULAR AIR FORCE
GENERAL DUTIES BRANCH
Appointment
Squadron Leader Bruce Leonard Tayler (Retired List “B”),
is appointed to a commission on a fixed term engagement, in
his present rank, with seniority from 4 March 1977 and effect
from 4 March 1980.
Promotions
Squadron Leader C. W. Adamson, A.F.C. to be Wing Com-
mander, with seniority from 4 October 1979 and effect from
30 December 1979.
Pilot Officer H. B. Keightley to be Flying Officer, with
seniority and effect from 4 April 1980.
Extension of Commission
The commission of Flight Lieutenant D. W. Phillips is
extended to 7 January 1994.
