National Roads Board: Notice Partially Revoking Declaration of State Highway to be a Limited Access Road
REFERRING to State Highway No. 2, Waiari River to the junction of SH33 section as more particularly shown on sheets 1 to 8 of plan M.O.W. 34937 and accompanying Schedule held in the office of the Resident Engineer, Ministry of Works and Development, Tauranga, and there available for public inspection, it is notified that the National Roads Board by resolution dated 19 March 1980 and pursuant to subsection 5 of section 4 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1963, hereby revokes its resolution dated 21 February 1973* made pursuant to the said section 4 insofar as it affects that part of the limited access road declaration for a width of 13 metres on the eastern side commencing 100 metres north of the northern boundary of Lot 2, D.P. 57919, and extending northwards for 100 metres across the frontage of certificate of title 1751/40.

National Roads Board: Notice Partially Revoking Declaration of State Highway to be a Limited Access Road
REFERRING to State Highway No. 1, Te Hou Hou Road to Wheelers Pit as more particularly shown on sheets 1 to 2 of plan M.O.W. 35799 and accompanying Schedule held in the office of the Resident Engineer, Ministry of Works and Development, Wanganui, and there available for public inspection, it is notified that the National Roads Board by resolution dated 19 March 1980 and pursuant to subsection 5 of section 4 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1963, hereby revokes its resolution dated 13 December 1973* made pursuant to the said section 4 insofar as it affects that part of the limited access road declaration over half its width on the southern side for the entire northern boundary of part Block XXXII, Rangitikei District (certificate of title 55/115), from its eastern boundary to the mid point of the north-west corner.

National Roads Board: Revoking a Notice Partially Revoking a Declaration of a State Highway to be a Limited Access Road
PURSUANT to subsection 5 of section 4 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1963, the National Roads Board hereby revokes the notice 25 February 1980, and published in the Gazette of 6 March 1980, No. 20, p. 635, partially revoking the Declaration of State Highway No. 57, Levin to Potts Road Section to be a Limited access road.

Declaration of Vehicle with Motor Cycle Controls to be a Motor Cycle
PURSUANT to section 2 of the Transport Act 1962, the Secretary for Transport hereby declares that the vehicle described in the Schedule hereto, having motor cycle controls, is a motor cycle for the purposes of the said Act.
NOTE—As the purpose of this notice is to change the declaration from any Bajaj Three Wheeler to one specified motor vehicle, the notice with the above heading published in the New Zealand Gazette, 10 January 1980, No. 1, p. 24, is hereby revoked.
SCHEDULE
THE three wheel vehicle with motor cycle controls, known as the Bajaj Three Wheeler, bearing the chassis No. 22/C/706 056 219, which was manufactured in India by Bajaj Auto Limited, of Poona.

The Securities Act 1978—Proposed Recommendations for Securities Regulations
PURSUANT to section 70 (3) of the Securities Act 1978, notice is hereby given that the Securities Commission intends to make recommendations for the enactment of regulations under that Act. The recommendations will relate to the following matters:
(a) The regulation of advertising relating to public offering of securities:
(b) The content of prospectuses required for certain public offerings:
(c) Other incidental matters.
The text of the proposals and a commentary thereon may be inspected at the offices of the Commission, Level 6, Greenock House, 39 The Terrace, Wellington; and at the offices of each District Registrar of Companies. Copies may be purchased at a charge of $10 per copy from Government Bookshops or from the Commission, P.O. Box 1179, Wellington.
Submissions on these proposals are requested by 31 May 1980.

Trading Bank Reserve Asset Ratios
PURSUANT to section 33 of the Reserve Bank of New Zealand Act 1964, the Reserve Bank, acting with the approval of the Minister of Finance, hereby gives notice that as from the close of business on 1st April 1980, and until further notice each trading bank shall maintain during each calendar month balances at the Reserve Bank plus holdings of Reserve Bank notes and of New Zealand Government securities, such that the aggregate of the averages of those balances and holdings during that calendar month (determined in accordance with clauses 1, 2, 3, and 4 of this notice) equals or exceeds the aggregate of:
30 per cent of that trading bank's average demand deposit liabilities in New Zealand in the immediately preceding calendar month (determined in accordance with the provisions of clause 5 of this notice); plus
22½ per cent of that trading bank's average time deposit liabilities in New Zealand in the immediately preceding calendar month (determined in accordance with the provisions of clause 5 of this notice);
Provided that a trading bank may make up its balances and holdings as aforesaid for a calendar month to the amount hereinbefore required for that calendar month by way of borrowings from the Reserve Bank made during that calendar month, or during the first 10 business days of the next following calendar month, and on terms and conditions to be determined by the Reserve Bank, and the proceeds of all such borrowings shall be credited to the account of that trading bank with the Reserve Bank.
For the purposes of this notice:
(1) Balances held by a trading bank at the Reserve Bank shall (subject to clause 6 of this notice) include both demand deposit balances and time deposit balances of that trading bank.
(2) The average of a trading bank's holdings of Reserve Bank notes for a calendar month shall be the average of the figures shown in all weekly returns of Banking Statistics by that trading bank under the Statistics Act 1975 received during that calendar month.
(3) The average of a trading bank's balances at the Reserve Bank and holdings of New Zealand Government securities for a calendar month shall in each case be the average of the figures for balances and such securities held by that trading bank on each day during that calendar month.
(4) Government securities held by a trading bank shall consist of Government stock and Treasury bills (all at nominal value) held by that trading bank.
(5) The average demand deposit liabilities and the average time deposit liabilities of a trading bank in a calendar month shall in each case be the average of the figures for days within that calendar month, as shown in that trading bank's weekly returns of Banking Statistics under the Statistics Act 1975.
(6) The proceeds of any borrowings made by a trading bank pursuant to the proviso to this notice shall:
