Notice of Intention to Take Land for the Use, Convenience, or Enjoyment of a Road in Westland County

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to take for the use, convenience, or enjoyment of a road the land described in the Schedule hereto, such land situated approximately 4 kilometres east of the Greymouth Post Office, to be used for the purposes of realigning existing road on the Greymouth-Reefton State Highway, and notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the Post Office at Greymouth, and is there open for inspection; that all persons directly affected by the taking of the said land should, if they have any objection to the amount or payment of compensation, make a written objection and send it within 40 days after the first publication of this notice to the Planning Tribunal at Wellington; and that if any objection is made in accordance with this notice a public hearing of the objection will be held unless the objector otherwise requires and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.

WESTLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land containing 908 square metres, situated in Block IX, Arnold Survey District, being Lot 4, D.P. 633. All the land in certificate of title 1A/326 as is more particularly shown on locality plan 6/790/1/3604/1, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works and Development at Wellington. The said piece of land is situated with frontage to the Greymouth-Reefton State Highway, approximately 4 kilometres east of the Greymouth Post Office.
