Pursuant to section 17 of the Standards Act 1965, the
Standards Council, on 21 December 1979, cancelled the
endorsement of the under-mentioned specifications.

resistors and capacitors. (Superseded by BS 1852:1975.)
BS 4083:1967 Aluminium hollow-ware cooking utensils.

The Standards Act 1965—Draft Amendment to New Zealand
Standard Specification Available for Comment

Pursuant to subsection (3) of section 23 of the Standards
Act 1965, notice is hereby given that the following draft
amendment is being circulated.

Number and Description of Draft

DZ 1525/A6/79 Draft amendment No. 6 to NZS 1525:1962
Mains operated electric fence controllers.
Amendment No. 6 revises the description and measurement
of the high voltage output pulse, introduces provision for
modern solid-state circuitry, and effects metrication.

All persons who may be affected by this amendment and
who desire to comment thereon may obtain copies from the
Standards Association of New Zealand, World Trade Center,
15-23 Sturdee Street (or Private Bag), Wellington.
The closing date for the receipt of comment is 30 March
1980.

Specification Available for Comment

Pursuant to subsection (3) of section 23 of the Standards
Act 1965, notice is hereby given that the following draft
New Zealand standard specification is being circulated.

Number and Title of Specification

DZ 4219 Seismic resistance of engineering systems in build-
ings, (A4, 95 pages) $4.75.

This standard will define installation design and restraining
requirements for engineering systems in buildings, to reduce
possible life and injury hazards, and protect property from
damage to a level commensurate with that required for the
structure. The standard will state general requirements and
suggest means of compliance.

All persons who may be affected by this publication and
who desire to comment thereon, may obtain copies at the
price shown, from the Standards Association of New Zealand,
World Trade Center, 15-23 Sturdee Street (or Private Bag),
Wellington.

DZ 3102/1 Draft specification for concrete masonry units.

The proposed revision of NZS 3102P:1974 was circulated
as a draft for comment in April 1979. As a result of com-
ments received on that draft, substantial changes have been
made and this revised draft is now issued for comment.

who desire to comment thereon, may obtain copies from the
