S. 2875, part Sections E2 and W2, Whitehall Settlement, and that last-named boundary produced across a public road to and along the north-western, and the western boundaries of part Hinura No. 2, the north-western boundary of part Section 15, Karapiro Settlement, to and along the eastern boundary of part Lot 2, D.P. 3569, a right line across French Pass Road to and along the western boundary of part Section 9, Karapiro Settlement, and that last-named boundary produced to the middle of the Karapiro Stream in Block X, Cambridge Survey District; thence westerly down the middle of that stream to and along the eastern, northern, and western boundaries of the Borough of Cambridge as described in New Zealand Gazette, 1958, p. 1732, to and down the middle of the Waikato River to and along the generally eastern boundary of the City of Hamilton, hereinbefore described, to and again down the middle of the Waikato River to and along the south-eastern, north-eastern, and northern boundaries of the Borough of Ngaruawahia as described in New Zealand Gazette, 1921, p. 501, to and again down the middle of the Waikato River to and along the southern, eastern, and north-eastern boundaries of the Borough of Huntly as described in New Zealand Gazette, 1965, p. 173, and again down the middle of the Waikato River to and down the middle of the channel between Allotments 10 (Taipouri Island) and 11 (Motukorea Island), Whangape Parish, and continuing down the middle of the Waikato River, so as to include all the islands in the said river, to the point of commencement.

BOUNDARIES OF COUNTY OF WAIPA

All that area in the South Auckland Land District bounded by a line commencing at a point in Block VII, Newcastle Survey District, in the middle of the Waipa River, in line with the south-eastern boundary of Allotment 109A, Suburbs of Newcastle South, and proceeding easterly, generally, along a right line to and along the generally southern boundary of the Borough of Ngaruawahia, as described in New Zealand Gazette, 1921, p. 501, to and along another right line being the production of the south-eastern boundary of Lot 22, D.P. S. 546, to the middle of the Waikato River; thence south-easterly generally up the middle of the said river to and along the generally western and southern boundaries of the City of Hamilton, hereinbefore described, to and up the middle of the Waikato River, to and along the generally western, southern, and eastern boundaries of the Borough of Cambridge, as described in New Zealand Gazette, 1958, p. 1732, to and again up the middle of the Waikato River to a point in line with the western boundary of part Pukekura No. 1, shown on D.P. 27186; thence southerly generally to and along the said western boundary, along a right line crossing Maungatautari Road to and along the generally western boundaries of part Pukekura No. 1, part Section 1, Block XIV, Cambridge Survey District, Lots 1 and 2, D.P. S. 14224, part Pukekura No. 4, shown on D.P. 9392, Pukekura No. 5, Section 1, and part No. 6, along the south-western boundary of part Pukekura No. 7, the north-western boundary of Pukekura No. 8A, and the western boundaries of Pukekura, parts No. 2, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, and 14, to the southernmost corner of the said part 14, thence south-easterly along a right line to Trig. Station 1427 (Maungatautari), in Block VII, Maungatautari Survey District, and along another right line running between that Trig. Station and Trig. Station 807 (Uraura), in Block VII, Ngaruku Survey District, to and up the middle of the Waikato River and the Arapuni Lake to a point in line with the northern boundary of Section 8, Block III, Wharepapa Survey District; thence westerly along a right line crossing part Section 3 and Section 23, both in Block IV, Wharepapa Survey District, and Mangare Road to and along the last-mentioned northern boundary and the northern boundary of Section 7, Block III, aforesaid; along a right line across Karaka Road to and along the northern boundaries of Wharepuhunga part 16B8, along another right line across Aotearoa Road, to and along the last-mentioned northern boundary, the north-western boundary of the said block and Section 9, Block VI, Wharepapa Survey District, to Trig. Station 1593 (Whatauri); thence north-westerly along the north-eastern boundaries of Lots 2 and 1, D.P. 37228, Lot 1, D.P. S. 2900, part Section 6 and part Section 1, Block II, Wharepapa Survey District, Lot 1, D.P. S. 891, and that last-mentioned boundary produced across the Waipari River and Sections 28 and 32, Block II, aforesaid, to the middle of the Puniu River; thence down the middle of that river to its confluence with the Mocirika Stream in Block XI, Puniu Survey District; thence westerly generally along a right line to the north-eastern corner of part Lot 2, D.P. 21236, along the northern and western boundary of that lot to a point in line with the northern boundary of Lot 1, D.P. S. 2050, along a right line across National State Highway No. 3 to and along the said northern boundary and the northern boundary of Lot 2, D.P. S. 2050, to the north-western corner of that lot, along the northern and north-western boundaries of Lot 1, D.P. S. 16146, the eastern and northern boundaries of Lot 1, D.P. 12668, the northern and western boundaries of Section 7, Block X, Puniu Survey District, the northern boundaries of part Lot 2, D.P. 12868, and part Ouruwhereo 3Y 2C, and that last-named boundary produced to the western side of the North Island Main Trunk Railway; thence along that western side to and along the northern boundary of the Te Kawa Railway Station, shown on S.O. 3908, Sheet 7, along a production of that northern boundary to and along the northern boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 25224, along the eastern and northern boundaries of part Ouruwhereo 3° 1, and the northern boundaries of part Ouruwhereo 3° 2C 2 and 3° 3, Lot 1, D.P. 6657, Lot 2, D.P. 15110, and the original northern boundaries of Ouruwhereo 3E, 5B, and 3E 2, passing through Sections 11 and 10, Block IX, Puniu Survey District, to and along the northern boundaries of part Lot 10, D.P. 23042, and Lot 1, D.P. 23897, a right line across the Ouruwhereo Road, to and along the northern boundary of part Ouruwhereo 3E 1A, and that boundary produced to the middle of the Waipa River in Block XII, Pirongia Survey District; thence northerly down the middle of that river, to and southerly up the middle of the Mangauika Stream in Block IV, Pirongia Survey District, to and generally westerly along the northern boundary of Lot 1, D.P. S. 19111, and its production to the western boundary of part Lot 1, D.P. S. 13058, to and along that line and, the northern boundaries of Sections 11 and 9, the western boundaries of the said Section 9 and Section 10, all the said sections being in Block IV, Pirongia Survey District, to Trig. Station 1921 (Pukehouia); thence along the northern boundary of Kaipipa No. 5, the western boundary of the said No. 5, and Kaipipa Nos. 4, 3, 2, and 1C, the northern boundary of part Section 3, Block VII, Pirongia Survey District, the eastern boundary of Section 18, Block VII, aforesaid, the northern boundaries of that section and Mangauiki A1, to and north-easterly along the south-eastern boundary of part Pirongia West 3A to Trig. Station 1922 (Mahaukura), thence north-easterly along the south-eastern side of the public road forming the north-western boundaries of Allotments 369, 427, 359, and 360, Pirongia Parish, passing through Allotment 355 and forming the northern boundaries of Allotments 361 and 362, along the south-western and south-eastern boundaries of Allotment 344, the south-eastern boundaries of Allotments 345 and 346, the south-western and south-eastern boundaries of Allotment 347, the south-eastern boundaries of Allotments 348, 349, 350, 47, 46, 45, 44, and 43, and the south-eastern and north-eastern boundaries of Allotment 41, to the said allotments being of Pirongia Parish, to and along the south-eastern boundary of Lot 3, D.P. 24766, along a right line across a public road, to and along the south-eastern boundary of Lot 4, D.P. 24766, and its production to the middle of the Waipa River afore-mentioned; thence northerly generally down the middle of the said river to the point of commencement excluding therefrom the Borough of Te Awamutu as described in New Zealand Gazette, 1961, p. 227.

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the undersigned Assistant Secretary to the Treasury, acting under powers delegated to the Secretary to the Treasury by the Minister of Finance, hereby consents to the borrowing by the local authorities, mentioned in the Schedule hereto, of the whole or any part of the respective amounts specified in that Schedule.
