Declaration that Land is a Reserve

PURSUANT to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Assistant Commissioner of Crown Lands, hereby notifies that the following resolution was passed by the Franklin County Council on the 13th day of November 1978:

That, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 14 of the Reserves Act 1977, the Franklin County Council hereby resolves that the piece of land held by the said County in fee simple, and described in the Schedule hereto, shall be, and the same is hereby, declared to be a reserve for recreation purposes within the meaning of the said Act.

Reservation of Land and Declaration that the Reserve be Part of the Whakapapa Island Scenic Reserve

PURSUANT to the Land Act 1948 and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Assistant Director-General of Lands hereby sets apart the land, described in the Schedule hereto, as a reserve for scenic purposes, and further, pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, declares the said reserve to form part of the Whakapapa Island Scenic Reserve to be administered as a reserve for scenic purposes by the Wanganui River Scenic Board.
