to be a member and Chairman of the Wairarapa Licensing Committee in place of Michael Frederick Hobbs, Esquire, Stipendiary Magistrate, resigned.

PURSUANT to section 32 of the Sale of Liquor Act 1962, His Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to appoint Michael Frederick Hobbs, Stipendiary Magistrate of Wellington, to be the Chairman of the Wellington Licensing Committee in place of Desmond John Sullivan, Chief District Court Judge, and pursuant to section 33 of the Sale of Liquor Act 1962, to be Chairman of the Chatham Islands Licensing Committee in place of Desmond John Sullivan, both appointments to taken effect on and from the 15th day of February 1980.
