with the south-eastern boundary of Suburban Section 125,
Norsewood; thence north-easterly to and along that boundary
and its production to the north-eastern side of Garfield Road;
thence north-westerly along that side to the southernmost
corner of part Section 13A, Block V, Takapau Survey
District; thence easterly along the southern boundaries of
part Section 13A and Sections 10A and 9A, Block V, Taka-
pau Survey District, and the production of the last-mentioned

north-easterly along that stream to a point in line with the

bourne Railway; thence south-westerly generally along that
side to the middle of the Waikoukou Stream; thence southerly
generally along that stream to a point in line with the
southern boundary of Lot 22, D.P. 8648; thence easterly to
and along that boundary, the southern boundaries of Lot 21,
D.P. 8648, and Lot 2, D.P. 1789, and the production of the
last-mentioned boundary to the eastern side of the Rangi-
toto Road, thence southerly along that side to the southern
boundaries of part Lot 1, D.P. 1925; thence easterly along
those boundaries to the western boundary of Lot 1, D.P.
2162; thence southerly along that boundary to the right
bank of the Mangapurakau Stream; thence along a line at
right angles to that bank to the middle of that stream;
thence south-easterly generally along that stream to a point
in line with the north-western boundary of Section 2, Block

western boundary of the said Section 2 to the north-western

along a right line to and again along the north-eastern
boundary of the said Section 31 and along the north-eastern
boundaries of Waikoipiro B2 and part B1, and the production
of the last-mentioned boundary to the middle of the Mana-
watu River; thence south-westerly generally along that river
to the point of commencement.

Fire District Boundaries (Marlborough) Notice 1980

PURSUANT to section 26 of the Fire Service Act 1975, the New
Zealand Fire Service Commission hereby gives the following
notice.

NOTICE

1. Title and commencement—(1) This notice may be cited
   as the Fire Districts Boundaries (Marlborough) Notice 1980.

(2) This notice shall come into effect on the 1st day of
March 1980.

2. Fire District boundaries—The boundaries of the follow-
   ing fire districts have been altered and shall henceforth be as
   defined in the Schedules hereto.

(a) the Blenheim Fire District being all that area described
in the First Schedule hereto;

(b) the Havelock Fire District being all that area described
in the Second Schedule hereto;

(c) the Seddon Fire District being all that area described
in the Third Schedule hereto; and

(d) the Picton Fire District being all that area described
in the Fourth Schedule hereto.

FIRST SCHEDULE

BLENHEIM FIRE DISTRICT

All that area in the Marlborough Land District, County of
Marlborough, and Borough of Blenheim, bounded by a line
commencing at the intersection of the middle of the Wairau
River Diversion and the sea coast in Block VIII, Cloudy
Bay Survey District, and proceeding southerly along the sea
coast to the middle of the mouth of the Wairau River; thence
southerly along a right line to the intersection of the north-
western boundary of the Marlborough Harbour Board Endow-
ment and the north-eastern boundary of part Section 8, Opawa
Registration District, in Block I, Clifford Bay Survey District;
thence generally south-easterly and north-westerly along the
boundary of the Marlborough Harbour Board Endowment
to a point on the left bank of the creek between Upper
Lagoon and Big Lagoon in line with the right lined south-
western boundary of Section 5, Wairau Registration District;
thence south-westerly along a right line to the easternmost
corner of the land shown on D.P. 112 in Block II, Clifford
Bay Survey District; thence south-westerly and north-westerly
along the south-eastern and south-western boundaries of that
land and the production of the last-mentioned boundary to
a point in line with the south-eastern boundary of part
Section 17, Opawa Registration District in Block II afore-
said; thence south-westerly to and along that boundary and
its production to the southern side of the Main North Rail-
way, and continuing south-westerly along the said south-
eastern boundary to the southernmost corner of the southern
