Land Proclaimed as Road and Road Closed and Vested in Hutt County

PURSUANT to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, the Minister of Works and Development hereby proclaims as road the land described in the First Schedule hereto, which land shall vest in the Hutt County Council; and hereby proclaims that the road described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby closed and shall, when so closed, vest in Bernice Maxine Judd of Wellington, married woman.

Amending a Notice Proclaiming Land as Road, Road Closed and Vested and Land Taken in Block IX, Wendon Survey District, Southland County

PURSUANT to section 330A of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works and Development hereby amends the notice dated the 28th day of May 1979, published in New Zealand Gazette, 28 June 1979, No. 59, page 1970, proclaiming land as road, road closed and vested and land taken in Block IX, Wendon Survey District, Southland County, by deleting therefrom the words “the road described thirdly and seventhly in the Third Schedule hereto, when so closed, shall be incorporated in lease in perpetuity No. 230 recorded in register book Volume 51, folio 97, Southland Registry, held from Her Majesty The Queen by James Alexander Lamb of Wendon Valley, farmer, and Estella Louie Olive Lamb, his wife, as tenants in common in equal shares subject to mortgage No. 280559”, and substituting the words “the road described thirdly and seventhly in the Third Schedule hereto when so closed shall be incorporated in lease in perpetuity No. 230 recorded in register book, Volume 51, folio 97, Southland Registry, held from Her Majesty the Queen by James Alexander Lamb of Wendon Valley, farmer, and Estella Louie Olive Lamb of Wendon Valley, married woman, subject to mortgages No. 221854 and 045881.2. The road secondly described in the Third Schedule hereto when so closed, shall vest in James Alexander Lamb of Wendon Valley, farmer, and Estella Louie Olive Lamb of Wendon Valley, married woman, subject to mortgages No. 221854 and 045881.2”.

Notice of Intention to Take Land in Block VII, Rangitaiki Upper Survey District, Whakatane District for Road

Notice is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to take for road the land described in the Schedule hereto, such land to be used for realignment and widening of existing road (State Highway 30).

And notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the Post Office at Whakatane and is there open for inspection; that all persons directly affected by the taking of the said land should, if they have any objection to the taking of the said land, not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation, make a written objection and send it within 40 days after the first publication of this notice to the Planning Tribunal at Wellington; and that, if any objection is made in accordance with this notice, a public hearing of the objection will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.

SCHEDULE
SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land containing 1329 square metres, situated in Block VII, Rangitaiki Upper Survey District, being part Omataroa 7AC5B2 Block; as shown on plan S.O. 48333, lodged in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Hamilton, and thereon marked ‘E’.

The said piece of land is situated on State Highway 30 adjacent to the north-western side of Western Drain Road near Awakeri.
