Reappointment of Maori Wardens Under the Maori Community Development Act 1962

NOTICE is hereby given, pursuant to section 7 of the Maori Community Development Act 1962 as substituted by section 14 (3) of the Maori Purposes Act 1975, that the person named in the Schedule hereto has been reappointed as a Maori warden for a term of 3 years, for the area of the Maori association shown opposite the name in the second column of the Schedule hereto.

Declaring Land Taken for Maori Housing Purposes in the City of Tauranga

PURSUANT to section 32 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works and Development hereby declares that, a sufficient agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for Maori housing purposes, from and after the 28th day of February 1980.

Notice of Intention to Take a Leasehold Estate in Land for a Secondary School in Block XVI, Mangaoparo Survey District, Waiapu County

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to take for a secondary school the leasehold estate in the land described in the Schedule hereto, held from the Maori Trustee by Hori Awatere under and by virtue of a memorandum of lease registered with the Maori Land Court of New Zealand, Tairawhiti District No. 8920, such land to be used for a water treatment unit for Ngata College.

And notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land in which the leasehold estate is so required to be taken is deposited in the Post Office at Ruatoria and is there open for inspection; that all persons directly affected by the taking of the said leasehold estate, should, if they have any objection to the taking of the said leasehold estate, not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation,
