Pharmaceutical Society of New Zealand—Results of Elections

Notice is hereby given of the results of an election of members of the Council of the Pharmaceutical Society of New Zealand held on 24 November 1980.

Auckland District:
Five candidates were nominated for three vacancies. 586 ballot papers were issued, 386 were returned and the poll resulted—

J. M. Bielby ........................ 124 votes
D. E. Buckle ...................... 286 votes
J. S. Danby ....................... 217 votes
R. J. Milicich ..................... 163 votes
B. T. Tidswell .................... 289 votes

I therefore declare D. E. Buckle, J. S. Danby, and B. T. Tidswell duly elected.

Wellington District:
Three candidates were nominated for two vacancies. 355 ballot papers were issued, 262 were returned and the poll resulted—

J. H. Berry ......................... 195 votes
R. P. Rosenberg ................. 132 votes

I therefore declare J. H. Berry and R. J. Anderson duly elected.

Canterbury District:
E. C. Shaw being the only candidate, I declare him duly elected.

Otago District:
A. R. Graham being the only candidate, I declare him duly elected.

North Island:
Five candidates were nominated for three vacancies. 1,076 ballot papers were issued, 424 were returned and the poll resulted—

National Roads Board—Notice Partially Revoking Declaration of State Highway to be a Limited Access Road

Referring to State Highway No. 1, Oamaru to Kakanui, as more particularly shown on sheets 1 to 2 of plan M.O.W. 14848 and accompanying Schedule held in the office of the Resident Engineer, Ministry of Works and Development, Dunedin, and there available for public inspection, it is notified that the National Roads Board by resolution dated 19 November 1980, and pursuant to subsection 5 of section 4 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1963, hereby revokes its resolution dated 18 November 1968*, made pursuant to the said section 4 insofar as it affects that part of the limited access road declaration for half its width on the southern side across the frontages of part sections 1 of 50, 2 of 49, D.P. 3330, and part Lot 1, D.P. 6471 (certificate of title 7B/1188), all as described on D.P. 17093.

National Roads Board—Notice Partially Revoking Declaration of State Highway to be a Limited Access Road

Referring to State Highway No. 45, New Plymouth to Okura section, as more particularly shown on sheets 1 to 4 of plan M.O.W. 15025 and accompanying Schedule held in the office of the Resident Engineer, Ministry of Works and Development, New Plymouth, and there available for public inspection, it is notified that the National Roads Board by resolution dated 19 November 1980, and pursuant to subsection 5 of section 4 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1963, hereby revokes its resolution dated 17 February 1969*, made pursuant to the said section 4 insofar as it affects that part of the limited access road declaration for half its width on the eastern side across the frontages of part section 153 (certificate of title 204/21) and part section 7 (certificate of title 129/244), Omata district.

National Roads Board—Notice Partially Revoking Declaration of State Highway to be a Limited Access Road

Referring to State Highway No. 1, Waitarere to Levin, as more particularly shown on sheets 1 to 3 of plan M.O.W. 36125 and accompanying Schedule held in the office of the Resident Engineer, Ministry of Works and Development, Porirua, and there available for public inspection, it is notified that the National Roads Board by resolution dated 19 November 1980, and pursuant to subsection 5 of section 4 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1963, hereby revokes its resolution dated 15 May 1974*, made pursuant to the said section 4 insofar as it affects that part of the limited access road declaration for half its width on the eastern side commencing 20 metres north of the point of junction of the common boundary of Lot 4 and Lot 5, D.P. 391 (certificate of title 49/291) and the State Highway and extending southwards for 40 metres.
