PURSUANT to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act
1948, the Minister of Works and Development hereby pro-
claims as closed the road described in the Schedule hereto.

ALL those pieces of road situated in Block II, Weber Survey
District, described as follows:

Road Closed and Vested in Block VII, Tahoraiti Survey
District, Dannevirke County

PURSUANT to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act
1948, the Minister of Works and Development hereby pro-
claims that the road described in the Schedule hereto is
hereby closed and also declares that the road firstly described in
the said Schedule hereto when so closed shall vest in Arthur
Douglas Cammock of Kirikiti, farmer, and also hereby declares
that the road secondly described in the said Schedule hereto
when so closed shall vest in Elizabeth Mary Peina of Rotorua,
married woman as to a one-half share and Miro Joseph
Hoera, m.a. as to a one-half share as tenants in common in
the said shares and also hereby declares that the road thirdly
described in the said Schedule hereto when so closed shall
vest in Hocra Hoterine as to a one-half share and Te Mananui
Robin Tawhai as to a one-half share.

Declaring Land Held for a Government Work (Railway
Purposes) at Winton and Not Now Required for that
Purpose to be Crown Land

PURSUANT to section 35 of the Public Works Act 1928, the
Minister of Railways hereby declares the land described in
the Schedule hereto to be Crown land, subject to the Land
Act 1948, as from the 8th day of December 1980.

ALL that piece of land described as follows:

Declaring Land Taken for Railway Purposes at Port Chalmers

PURSUANT to section 45 of the Government Railways Act 1949
and section 32 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister
of Railways hereby declares that a sufficient agreement to
that effect having been entered into, the land described in
the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for railway purposes
on and from the 8th day of December 1980.

State Forest Land Set Apart as a Dedicated Area—Charleston
Amenity Area—Westland Conservancy

PURSUANT to section 15 of the Forests Act 1949 (as inserted
by section 2 of the Forests Amendment Act 1973, and
amended by section 5 of the Forests Amendment Act 1976),
the Minister of Forests hereby gives notice that the various
areas of land described in the Schedule hereto are hereby set
apart and dedicated for the purposes of protection, main-
tenance and management of trees and other plants, and for
the protection of the natural environment and native wildlife con-
sistent with the proper use and management of State forest
land. The various areas of State forest land so dedicated shall
be known by the name shown.

SCHEDULE
NELSON LAND DISTRICT—BULLER COUNTY—CHARLESTON
AMENITY AREA

STATE forest situated in Blocks VI, VII, and IX, Waitakere
Survey District: area, 575 hectares (part State forest by
New Zealand Gazette, 1943, p. 291, and Forest Amendment Act
1973, comprising 508 hectares shown as area A on
S.O. Plan 12572, and part State forest by New Zealand
Gazette, 1920, p. 2115, and Forest Amendment Act 1973,
comprising 67 hectares shown as area B on S.O. Plan 12572),
as shown on plan K30/3 deposited in the Head Office of
the New Zealand Forest Service at Wellington.
