The Traffic (Helensville Borough) Notice No. 1, 1980

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Helensville Borough) Notice No. 1, 1980.

2. The road specified in the First Schedule hereto is hereby excluded from the limitation as to speed imposed by section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

3. The road specified in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be a 70 kilometres an hour speed limit area pursuant to regulation 21. (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976*.

4. The notice dated the 21st day of December 1936†, issued pursuant to section 3 of the Motor Vehicles Amendment Act 1936 excluding certain roads specified in the Schedules hereto from limits as to speed stated in the said section, is hereby revoked.

FIRST SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Helensville Borough:

No. 16 State Highway (Auckland-Wellsford via Helensville); from a point 80 metres measured westerly generally along the said State Highway from the North Auckland Railway Line Bridge to the western boundary of Helensville Borough; and from a point 160 metres measured northerly generally along the said State Highway from Stewart Street to the northern boundary of Helensville Borough.

SECOND SCHEDULE
