In the notice with the above heading, published in the New Zealand Gazette dated 17 January 1980, p. 99, clause (a) is to read as follows:

On any Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday (not being Christmas Eve or New Year’s Eve)—Opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 10 o’clock in the evening.

Authorising Rodney County Council to Reclaim Land From the Matakana River

THE RIGHT HON. R. D. MULDOON PRESIDING IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to section 175 (3) of the Harbours Act 1950, and subject to sections 176 to 182 of the Act, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorises the Rodney County Council to reclaim from the bed of the Matakana River an area of 2650 square metres, more or less, of land as shown on plan M.D. 15974 and deposited in the office of the Ministry of Transport at Wellington.

Revoking Orders in Council and Appointing Non-Elective Members of the Manawatu Catchment Board

Present:

THE RT. HON. R. D. MULDOON PRESIDING IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Act 1941, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby revokes the Order in Council dated the 29th day of March 1971 and published in the Gazette on the 29th day of April 1971, No. 31, p. 794, and the Order in Council dated the 5th day of May 1969, No. 28, p. 889, and hereby appoints the persons who are the holders for the time being of the offices of Director, Grasslands Division, Department of Scientific and Industrial Research, Palmerston North, and Regional Advisory Officer, Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries, Palmerston North, to be non-elective members of the Manawatu Catchment Board.

Warrant Appointing the Deputy Chairman of the Accident Compensation Commission Under the Accident Compensation Act 1972

PURSUANT to section 6 of the Accident Compensation Act 1972, I, Sir Keith Holyoake, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby appoint

James Lennon Faby of Wellington

to be Deputy Chairman of the Accident Compensation Commission for a term of 3 years, commencing on the 20th day of December 1979.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General this 6th day of February 1980.

Commander K. J. Lewis, 17 January 1980.

Commander (acting Captain) I. H. D. Tyler relinquishes the acting rank of Captain, with effect from 12 January 1980. The seniority of Lieutenant Commander C. J. Niven is post-dated to 1 December 1975.
