Notice Declaring Bur Daisy (Calotis Lappulacea) a Class B Noxious Plant (No. 2470, Ag. 12/10/10)

  1. Pursuant to section 19 of the Noxious Plants Act 1978, the Noxious Plants Council hereby declares bur daisy (Calotis lappulacea) a class B noxious plant in that part of New Zealand lying within the boundaries of Waitaki District Noxious Plants Authority.

  2. This notice shall come into effect on the day after the date of notification in the Gazette.

Declaration of Certain Items of Plant or Equipment as a Designated Item for the Purposes of Section 13 (2A) of the New Zealand Ports Authority Act 1968

Pursuant to section 13 (2) of the New Zealand Ports Authority Act 1968 (hereinafter referred to as "the Act"), where the value of any of the following items of plant or equipment exceeds the prescribed amount (as defined in section 13 (1) of the Act) in relation to any Harbour Board listed in the First Schedule of the Harbours Act 1950, the New Zealand Ports Authority hereby declares that the item is a designated item for the purposes of section 13 (2A) of the Act in relation to the harbour of each of the above-mentioned Harbour Boards.

All dredgers other than dredgers owned by Harbour Boards.

The Charitable Trusts Act 1957β€”Notice of Application for Approval of a Scheme Under Part III of the Charitable Trusts Act 1957

Notice is hereby given that the Public Trustee as trustee of the will of Charles Plimmer, late of Wellington in New Zealand, gentleman, deceased, has filed in the office of the High Court at Wellington an application for approval of a scheme extending or varying the powers of the Public Trustee in respect of the residuary estate administered by him under the said will. Under the scheme the powers conferred on the Public Trustee will include powers:

(a) To purchase or acquire real property or interests therein.
(b) To improve or develop any real or personal property forming part of the estate.
(c) To expend capital out of the estate in the repair, maintenance, upkeep, or renovation of assets comprised in the estate.
(d) To raise money by loan or overdraft and expend any moneys so raised for capital purposes.
(e) To set up and maintain a reserve fund and for that purpose to direct that income arising from the estate shall cease to be income for the purposes of the trusts contained in the will and become a capital reserve.
(f) To expend for capital purposes any such reserve fund or the existing building replacement fund comprised in the estate.

Copies of the application, the scheme, and the report of the Attorney-General thereon may be inspected free of charge, at the office of the Registrar of the High Court at Wellington, or at the office of the District Public Trustee, Wellington, 131-133 Lambton Quay, Wellington.

The date proposed for the hearing of the application is the 10th day of December 1980.

Any person desiring to oppose the scheme is hereby required to give written notice of his intention to do so to the Registrar of the High Court at Wellington, and the Public Trustee, and the Attorney-General, not less than 7 clear days before that date.
